Is human reason the final deciding factor?

Individual reason or self interpretation/realisation and complete dependence on written works viz. religious texts, sacred literature etc. one uses, are the two different choices that have a big difference. These choices stand at the opposite ends and make two different types of persons who choose differently. However, the difference can be reduced if one uses the same written works by interpreting them rationally in one’s own way.

Thus individual reason is the decisive factor. Yes.
